Our Story

Rise Above Sports was started in 2023 with the mission to instill habits of leadership, sportsmanship, and Christ-centered attitudes in our athletes. Our staff and coaches are held to that same standard and are expected to model Christ-centered attributes that promote a positive, encouraging, and winning culture. We also expect our coaching staff to help our athletes grow not only in their sport, but in life, through teaching them valuable life lessons that go beyond the playing field.

As a travel flag football program, we compete in tournaments near and far, giving our athletes meaningful opportunities to grow, challenge themselves, and represent Rise Above with excellence wherever they go.

With each new season, we aim to continue creating new traditions, embarking on new competitive journeys, and providing experiences that allow our athletes to be their best. Our goal is to build the program on the pillars of R.I.S.E: Respect, Integrity, Shape, Encourage. Winning is not just about the outcome of a competition but has deeper meaning in the efforts, attitudes, and character shown in how we play the game.
